No, its not a usual fashion nor make up sesh to make you feel beautiful. Its way beyond that. Its a talk to remind every girl how beautiful they are. Because being beautiful is a matter of how you carry yourself, your attitude and the way you look at life. Yes its true.. why on earth Filipinos are dying to have the perfect skin where in fact foreigners feel so envious with our skin color? I think thats the sad side of reading glossy magazines. You teach the society especially here in our country that being pretty means having those perfectly curved body, nice nose, great tits and ass and that porcelain skin color. Stop. Being beautiful is more than just a pretty face.

Here’s my story.
For the longest time, I believe that I am not beautiful. I always feel less confident with myself. I know its quit ironic knowing that my job requires a lot of confidence hahaha! But really, even if people would tell me I am beautiful I would say, “Hindi naman..”. But one day I woke up and felt the need to change my attitude. I started by finding beauty in every little thing around me. Example, a white paper with a black dot in the middle. The old me would only see the black dot. The new me would see it too but will focus more on how white and glossy that paper is. Get it? Yes, there will always be rough times but all we can do is take it constructively. You try to shrug of the bad things and move forward smiling. We shouldn’t dwell too much on the bad things because it will only make you feel ugly. We should always try to look at the brighter side of things. (Insert tons of positivity here!) The number one secret of being beautiful for me is being happy. It will show in your face. Believe me. I did. And I guess it worked. ;)

So start with yourself . Believe that you are beautiful no matter how you look like. Petite, tall, dark, white.. We are all equally created beautiful by God. Tell that little girl in glasses that she is beautiful today. Remind every girl that we are all BEAUTIFUL. ❤

When the wedding video of a small guy and a lady was all over the internet few months ago, I am one of those who got teary eyed and felt the love not only because it was greatly edited by THE Jason Magbanua, but because another happy ever after happened. (Kill me for being a cry baby over some cheesy stuff!) Surprisingly, I saw the lovely couple in a recent friend’s wedding that I attended. Happy to have a photo op with Mara and Elo. It was indeed an unconditional love that knows no boundaries.. and yes, love really conquers all. ❤
